Putting the Equality and Quality into Interpreting and Translation

More About Us

A service you can rely upon…

In-Trans was established in 2003 to support individuals accessing NHS Grampian health services. Since then the service has developed and expanded, now serving a wide range of sectors and organisations including oil and gas companies, individuals and third sector organisations.

We invest in people to help them improve and achieve their full potential. Our interpreters and translators are highly dedicated and committed to continually developing their skills. We recognise that an important stage of supporting those whose first language is not English is to help people to overcome languages barriers.

Communication is the heart of In-Trans and trust is the foundation of our service

Why Choose In-Trans?

THE HIGHEST QUALITY

With over 15 years’ experience In-Trans is the longest-running interpreting & translation company in North East Scotland. We regularly deliver our service in a wide range of settings, for example supporting training events for oil and gas companies, the translation of company handbooks and manuals, visiting delegations and business fairs.

EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE

We pride ourselves on our level of customer service; we strive to deliver a consistent, high-quality and reliable service which meets the needs of our diverse client groups. We ensure that our interpreters and translators are of the highest standard and are able to meet our clients’ expectations and more.

SUPPORTING A CHARITY

In-Trans sits alongside other projects and services at Grampian Regional Equality Council (GREC). GREC aims to tackle discrimination and promote good community relations across the North East of Scotland. For example, we provide free counselling support to people who have been the victims of hate crime and prejudice.

A LOCAL ORGANISATION

We are based in the centre of Aberdeen on Union Street. We encourage all companies in North East Scotland to work in partnership with a local company that provides a service of the highest standards. We are proud of our connections with the diverse range of communities across Aberdeen and Grampian.
